At the Sept. 2 work session, Police Chief Eric Beale proposed eliminating the current paper visitor parking pass in favor of a more durable replacement and charging $150 for a replacement if lost.
Council members asked staff to consider a lower fee for a first replacement and a higher fee if a pass is misplaced a second time, and requested proposed language and fee tiers be presented for the Sept. 10 meeting. No formal action or final fee schedule was approved at the work session.
