Maintenance supervisor flags ungrounded wiring at baseball/softball fields

Maintenance supervisor Brian updated the board on recent facilities work and raised a safety concern about field wiring.

"When they dug it up and determined that we need to quit using it, period, until the whole till we install the whole thing," Brian said, describing discovery of wiring with no ground at the baseball/softball field and noting a danger of electric shock if the line remains in service. He recommended installing conduit and redoing the run so that wiring can be safely replaced or repaired.

Brian also reported that staff moved into the high school office, pending a few installations such as an interior door and a window. He said building access buttons for desks were installed and that a recent water test gave the district a "clean bill of health." The board acknowledged the repairs and thanked maintenance staff for the work.

The maintenance update drew no separate formal motion; subsequent agenda items proceeded to financial and personnel reports.
