Township manager reports septic work complete at 1719 McCormick Road; stormwater pipe inspection to follow

During staff reports the township manager updated the authority on remediation work at 1719 McCormick Road. According to the manager, the property owner had an additional septic tank installed to increase capacity, contractors cleaned and flushed the existing tank and repaired what was necessary. "They installed that new septic system and had repaired what was existing there," the township manager said.
The manager explained that the next step will be to inspect the stormwater pipe and address damage found there; because the pipe is on private property staff will follow through with the owner to coordinate repair work. The authority accepted the township manager's report by motion and the issue will be tracked pending inspection findings and any required permits.
