Higher‑education consortia expand ECE access and Spanish‑language pathways, serving hundreds of students in year one

Younghi Kim (Southern Oregon University) and Rogue Community College described regional umbrella models that translate coursework into Spanish and create cohort supports. Younghi said SOU and partner colleges have translated major course content and are building micro‑credentials for early childhood mental health and holistic supports; Rogue said it now serves dozens of Spanish‑speaking students with cohort models that include general education courses in Spanish.
