IT director briefs council on device management, phone system and Office 365 agreement

Lorden Ingraham, IT Director for the City of Pacific, told the council at the March 24 workshop that staff are working on mobile device management and researching a replacement phone system. Ingraham said the department is also planning a software migration to the cloud and will bring a Microsoft Office 365 annual agreement to council for approval at a future meeting.
No decision was taken at the workshop; the report was informational and flagged for follow-up so the council can review any contract terms and budget implications when the Office 365 agreement appears on a future agenda.
