Council approves Teamsters collective bargaining agreement covering public works, parks and clerical staff

The measure passed on a roll call vote with seven ayes and no nays; Mayor Kave recorded the result as 7-0.
The agreement covers public works, parks and clerical employees represented by Teamsters Local #117 and takes effect Jan. 1, 2025, through Dec. 31, 2027. The council did not request additional amendment language or delay; the motion proceeded without recorded debate. The council adjourned at 6:29 p.m.
