As part of the public-hearing agenda, the council reviewed lease assignments and renewals for hangars at Greenwood County Airport. County representative Rhett Templeton explained hangar numbering and clarified that a "ramp" designation refers to a concrete pad outside the terminal building where an aircraft can be parked rather than a covered hangar.
No members of the public spoke in opposition. After closing the public hearing the council moved and seconded a motion to approve the recommended lessees and ramp assignments. The council voted to approve the hangar leases as presented.
