The board approved a reduced size of 1,728 square feet and required a survey to confirm location and a signed commitment that the structure will not be used for business.
Board members and staff discussed stake placement and visibility; the chair emphasized that if the structure is approved it must be sited with a surveyor’s confirmation so it would not be located in front of the house. The approval (case DVDash2026-17) included the requirement that the applicant sign a form affirming personal, not commercial, use and return plan documents to staff for permit correction.
