Delta 3 Engineering's update said Wall Street construction is about 75% complete, with cleanup and landscaping expected by June 6. Mark Digman reported that an earlier estimated overrun of approximately $70,000 (reported December) is now closer to $55,000 despite extra work added by the village.
The board approved Pay Application #8 to JI Construction for $249,920 (motion by Dennis Moris, seconded by Alan Mergen). Digman listed added items contributing to increased cost: a fill site (~$66,000), storm sewer on Spruce Road (~$15,000), paving on West Court (~$40,000), new water services/laterals (~$15,000), and additional tree removals (~$4,000), totaling roughly $140,000 in extras.
