Board approves wage increases after closed session; workers' comp carrier being replaced

The board entered closed session under Wisconsin Statute 19.85 to consider promotion, compensation, or performance matters for public employees, then reconvened to open session and approved wage increases for village and library employees as recommended during closed session. The motion to adopt the wage increases passed with all trustees in favor.
Clerk Atterbury also reported that West Bend is not renewing the workers' compensation policy for the pool; Heather at Tricor is working to identify a new pool carrier and will provide a renewal quote when the carrier is named. The clerk said she will follow up with Tricor and report back when a renewal quote is received.
