Board holds closed session on personnel; clerk reports backlog of bank reconciliations

Village President Robert McLimans moved and Dennis Moris seconded that the board go into closed session under Statute 19.85(1)(c) to consider employment, promotion, compensation, or performance evaluation data of public employees. The motion carried; the board later reconvened in open session on a subsequent motion by McLimans, seconded by Moris.
After reconvening, Clerk/Treasurer Shawna Atterbury reported she is working to catch up on bank reconciliations because several accounts were unreconciled during her leave of absence. The board asked that she continue to report progress to ensure financial records are current.
