Bonduel to buy Cedar Park playground equipment after $77,322.50 GameTime grant offer

The Village of Bonduel will purchase new playground equipment for Cedar Park after receiving a $77,322.50 grant offer from manufacturer GameTime, the board approved Oct. 22. Municipal Operations Director Jesse Rankin said the grant would cover equipment cost if the village makes the purchase this year; installation costs would be covered by remaining GO Note proceeds and the 2026 playground budget.
Trustee Kay Zuleger moved to approve buying equipment from GameTime using the remaining proceeds of GO Notes; Trustee Brenda Staszak seconded and the motion carried unanimously. Rankin said equipment would be purchased this year with installation completed and paid in 2026 using the noted funding sources.
The board did not adopt alternative vendor proposals at this meeting; Rankin reported he had received quotes from several playground equipment companies but recommended accepting GameTime’s offer.
