Forward Pinellas presents grants, MPO role and proposed regional merger

He said Forward Pinellas is "one of 27 MPOs in Florida" and explained the board includes elected county commissioners, municipal representatives and the Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority.
Blanton reviewed the agency's local government, planning and construction grant programs and discussed a proposed MPO regional merger. Commissioners thanked him for the presentation; no action was taken at the meeting.
