Bonduel board approves land-lease resolution with Verizon Wireless

The Village of Bonduel Village Board on Oct. 22 introduced and approved Resolution 2025-17, a land-lease agreement with Verizon Wireless that the village attorney recommended be adjusted before finalization. Trustee Kay Zuleger moved to introduce the resolution with the attorney's suggested changes; Trustee Brenda Staszak seconded, and the motion carried on a unanimous roll-call vote (Court, Falk, Pleshek, Staszak, Zuleger and Gehm all voted Aye).
Attorney Adams reviewed areas of the lease for improvement and staff indicated the agreement was routed to the Village Attorney for review. Municipal Operations staff are checking insurance coverage to ensure the village is named and covered for the amounts specified in the agreement. The board’s unanimous action advanced the lease process; next steps are implementation of the attorney’s recommended contract edits and final execution of the lease.
The vote was recorded at the meeting; no members voted against or abstained. The board did not set a later ratification date in the discussion covered in this session.
