Bonduel RDA prioritizes historic-style wayfinding and schedules downtown plan review for November

At the Oct. 14 meeting the Village of Bonduel Redevelopment Authority discussed next steps on wayfinding signs and downtown planning. Brad Luepke reported he spoke with business owners and residents and said the "general preference was for a more historic design that incorporates old photos of Bonduel." The board discussed locations, sign sizes and brand consistency and tabled the item until a design proof and a list of locations are available.
The RDA also discussed a vacant board seat and park greenspace naming; with no new name suggestions the board proposed a Facebook contest to solicit resident input and tabled the item for a future meeting. Kristen Fish-Peterson reported she is working on the Downtown Revitalization Plan and expects it to be ready for review at the November meeting, which the RDA views as the next major milestone for coordinated downtown projects.
