Bonduel RDA approves $10,000 grant for Griesbach Solutions parking lot improvements

The Village of Bonduel Redevelopment Authority voted unanimously Oct. 14 to award Griesbach Solutions a $10,000 Downtown Business Grant for parking-lot rehabilitation at 235 S Cecil St. Jesse Rankin presented the application; Isaiah Griesbach requested $10,000 to "remove existing asphalt, mill & excavate, grade, compact & pave the parking lot area," and included two contractor quotes at $20,000 and $22,100. The motion to approve the $10,000 grant passed on a motion by Brad Luepke, seconded by Lisa Hughes.
The approved grant covers a portion of the estimated cost; RDA members indicated the grant program is intended to help leverage larger private investment in downtown infrastructure. The RDA recorded the vote as unanimous with six members present.
