Bonduel approves reduced special assessments for Sunrise Court

The Village of Bonduel approved adjusted special assessments for Sunrise Court on Oct. 8 after final project costs were lower than earlier projections.
Director of Municipal Operations Jesse Rankin told the board that affordable-housing funds from a TID extension covered most infrastructure expenses for Sunrise Court, leaving road construction, curb, and gutter as the remaining items to be assessed. The adjustment reduced the amounts owed for all property owners, including seven lots on which the village had previously paid assessments.
The motion to approve the adjusted special assessments carried with the following recorded votes: Court-Aye, Falk-Aye, Pleshek-Nay, Staszak-Aye, Streetman-Aye, Zuleger-Aye, and Gehm-Aye.
