Tisbury BOH backs MAVEN expansion and VNA shared-nursing contract; staff to finalize legal review

Health Agent Drew Belsky reported that the MAVEN shared-services contract has been expanded from three Down-Island towns to all five Island municipalities; Aquinnah and Chilmark have voted to participate. The contract creates two cost-sharing groups with each group contributing $11,500 for a combined contract value of $23,000. Belsky asked the Board for advance authorization to execute contracts after legal review.
Belsky also reported that the Up-Island towns opted to use VNA for shared public-health nursing services and that the Down-Island shared nursing contract contemplates a three-way cost split of $20,000 per municipality ($60,000 total). The Board expressed support for both agreements and directed staff to present final contract documents for signature authorization following legal review.
