Board members asked follow-up questions about timelines and whether any internal candidates were being considered for some openings; the administration said it would continue to pursue candidates and schedule interviews. The board later approved the Elm Street Elementary nurse nomination by a 7-0 vote.
The staffing update also included a reminder that the district will finalize the FY2526 numbers for the Department of Education submission due Sept. 1 and that remaining fund balance discussions include possible support for food-service operations.
