Board approves second ECTC dual-credit coordinator as dual-credit enrollment rises

Board members asked about transferability and scholarship funding. Miss Puryear said the district uses associate plans and ECTC/KCTCS transfer agreements to ensure credits can transfer to Kentucky public universities and described proactive advising and outreach to families. She also described a response to a reduction in scholarships: the UP Foundation agreed to sponsor 15 scholarships to help enrolled students.
