City Administrator Myers requested at the Oct. 23 meeting that the City of Altamont Personnel Manual (section D-3) be amended so that employees are paid biweekly on every other Friday, effective Jan. 1, 2026. The proposal would change payroll timing citywide if adopted.
Councilmembers did not adopt the change at the meeting; they asked staff to obtain additional input from employees and return with that feedback before any formal amendment is made to the personnel manual.
