Commission hears updates on pavers, retaining wall and promenade schedule

The commission heard that the Friends group will complete a retaining-wall section (referred to as the Friends Wall or Diana's Wall) and that the town is awaiting an engineer's report. Staff said the promenade walk construction is hoped to start on Oct. 1.
No formal action was taken; the projects were described as on schedule and staff said paperwork and procurement steps are underway to keep timelines on track.
