County Coordinator Kelly Thongvivong reported and the board accepted the resignation of part-time Jailer/Dispatcher Josiah Wimbley effective June 30, 2026; the minutes record that Wimbley will receive appropriate payout of benefits and that the motion to accept the resignation passed unanimously (motion: Stevens/Gravley).
Thongvivong also reported that the board voted to add Range 31 to the 2026 pay matrix and move the Public Works Director/Engineer position to the new range from Range 30 (motion: Anderson/Stevens). Thongvivong noted that Trent Rothenberger, hired June 16 as a part-time Jailer/Dispatcher, started work July 2, 2026.
