Village Administrator Patton told trustees the village is advancing implementation of a grant-funded software system and a CivicPlus packet-automation module that will help produce meeting packets and approvals online. Patton said onboarding and data extraction are underway and the village expects the new system to go fully live in February, with the CivicPlus enhancements arriving later this summer.
Patton also announced the village received a $5,000 award from the Regional Transit Authority to host a one-day 'development dialogue' workshop focused on the south end of Glenwood Plaza to bring developers and experts to discuss potential development options. "We applied for that, with the south end of the plaza... and we received that $5,000 award," Patton said. The administrator said the village will schedule the workshop and share details when set.
