Two character letters admitted as exhibits over renewed objection

Asked whether she had altered the documents before submitting them, Gombos testified, "I did not do anything. I just forwarded the emails." The department's representative said the department still objected and sought an opportunity to cross-examine the letter authors, but Brown offered the documents as full exhibits.
The hearing officer stated, "I'm going to overrule the objections and mark these as full exhibits and afford them their due weight." The panel then prepared to resume questioning in executive session because forthcoming testimony would involve protected medical information.
