Director Christian M. Warren told the Board the Oct. 31 Roads Committee meeting drew about 30 attendees and focused on speeding in Perry Park and proposed changes to the community’s rear exit. Warren said residents formed a roads committee separate from the Board and recommended the Board review director involvement in committees at its January 2025 meeting.
A participant identified as Ross reported the Douglas County Sheriff’s office set up a speed box to measure average speeds; Warren said the county will complete another traffic study next spring. The minutes do not record any Board action on specific road projects at this meeting.
