Directors approve Norris Design to produce Perry Park entryway concepts

The Perry Park Metropolitan District board voted unanimously Nov. 14 to hire Norris Design to produce three conceptual 3‑D designs for the community entryway, each with low, mid and high‑end cost estimates and project‑management support. Director Jill Arthurs summarized the RFP process and presented the two proposals the committee received, from Kimley Horn and Norris Design; Arthurs moved to approve Norris Design and Director Joseph Brickweg seconded the motion.
Arthurs described the scope the District expects from the selected firm, including meetings with committee members, concept renderings and final cost estimates. A resident asked who prepares the contract; Rebecca Harris of WSDM said the firm provides the initial proposal and WSDM will edit it before sending it to legal for review. Arthurs noted Norris’s proposal included a “hand‑drawn, 3D rendering,” and the Board tabled further research on entryway easements supplied by Keith Worley until it reviews Worley’s findings before finalizing a design authorization.
