Emi Botzler-Rodgers, Humboldt County Behavioral Health Director, told the board that it "looks like the Mobile Crisis benefit will stay the same" but cautioned that the county faces a possible shortfall in suicide-prevention funding that "will have a big impact." She said that the state budget negotiations are ongoing and that some changes and cuts are being rejected at the state level.
Botzler-Rodgers also described an administrative transition: Drug Medi-Cal Organized Delivery System (DMC ODS) administration is moving to CalMHSA from Partnership Health, with a target transition date of January 1. Staff have been working to finalize contracts in preparation for that change.
