Suttons Bay council adopts marina policy to take effect with ordinance publication

The Village Council voted unanimously to adopt a Marina Policy intended to implement provisions of the newly adopted Marina Ordinance #30. Manager Larrea told members the policy conforms to the ordinance and will go into effect on the ordinance's effective date, which the manager said is 20 days after publication.
Suppes moved and Smith seconded the motion to adopt the policy; the minutes show the motion carried with seven ayes and no nays. The policy is recorded in Report VSB-2026-11 and will be implemented by staff when the ordinance becomes effective.
