Director Steven Ostrowski reported that a playground inspection is scheduled for Aug. 15 and that the committee is awaiting guidance from UC Denver on next steps related to park work. He noted an informal agreement with Larkspur Outdoor Maintenance but said additional mowing and maintenance are needed at the Giloon Pond trail and that weeds at the Big D require attention.
The Board discussed drafting a formal scope of work and obtaining additional bids for landscape maintenance to ensure consistent service and to address identified problem areas. Directors asked staff to prepare a scope and estimates for consideration at the next meeting.
