City outlines water, wastewater and stormwater planning; council asks about regional pipeline

During questions, a council member asked about the Western Dakota Water District pipeline. Staff described the regional pipeline concept as a large, long-term project: "We're looking at a 165 mile pipeline, which 60 to 72 inches and no longer the 3 pump plant of, 95,000,000 gallons of capacity in that 1st case," the presiding official said, and staff noted Kristen Conza has been named director of the district and is coordinating with congressional delegates.
