Box Elder awards $3.715 million Cheyenne Blvd./Westgate sanitary‑sewer contract to Mainline Contracting

Lang told the council bids were favorable and that Mainline has performed satisfactorily on prior work including the Ellsworth clean-water line.
A council member moved to award the contract to Mainline Contracting for $3,715,063.70 and authorized the mayor to sign the associated documentation. The motion was seconded, the council conducted a roll-call vote and the award was approved.
Lang said the city will return in a month or two with a second project to capture additional loan principal forgiveness and to fully use available loan funds for the broader program of sanitary-sewer improvements.
