Board questions how community can see new Medi-Cal dashboards and measures

Board members asked whether the new state dashboards and measures would be available to the public and to the behavioral health board. Alex Olivera (speaker 5), a QI analyst, and Amy Cohn said that some aggregate dashboards are accessible through DHCS portals and that the county also maintains monthly and quarterly reports for internal monitoring. "Some of it is public," a presenter said; "you have access to other sites that have the same data."
Presenters cautioned that individual-level clinical data is protected PHI and cannot be released; they said the county can point board members to public-facing dashboards and offered to provide links and training on how to use filters and slicers in the dashboards. Members requested specific instructions on where to find local Humboldt County reports online.
