The Gregory City Council entered executive session at 6:26 p.m. under SDCL 1-25-2(1) for a personnel discussion and returned at 6:57 p.m. Following the closed session, the council approved a motion to pay accumulated unused vacation time to a terminated employee. The motion was made by Alex Hamilton and seconded by Kristi Drey and recorded as "all ayes."
Separately, the Grandview Addition matter previously moved into executive session under SDCL 1-25-2(3) to consult with legal counsel received no formal action by the council during the meeting. The council adjourned at 7:00 p.m.
