After executive session, council authorizes interviews of three police candidates

The Gregory City Council entered executive session at 6:46 p.m. citing SDCL 1-25-2(3) to consult with legal counsel and SDCL 1-25-2(1) to discuss a personnel matter. At 7:22 p.m. the mayor removed the council from executive session.
After the closed session, on a motion by Renee Thomas the council voted to proceed with interviews of three police officer candidates to be conducted by the Public Safety Committee along with Mayor Laura Petersen and Police Chief Ryan Cook. The minutes record the motion passed with all ayes.
