Council approves patio permit with 18" variance; declines penalty waiver for pergola

The Gregory City Council approved two residential building permits during a Board of Adjustment session on June 15. Council also approved Jennifer Peck’s pergola permit (permit 2026-10) as recommended by Planning and Zoning but refused to waive the late-penalty fee. The motion to approve Peck’s permit, but not to waive the penalty, was made by Alex Hamilton and seconded by Kristi Drey; the motion carried unanimously. The Board of Adjustment session concluded and council exited back to the regular meeting.
