The Gregory City Council on April 20 approved several park and facility actions including accepting donated trees, approving a memorial bench, and scheduling driveway work around the city park.
Meeting minutes note that "Donated trees will be planted at Prairie Winds Park" following Sue Smizer Galvin’s donation. Terri Bartling requested permission to place a five-foot memorial bench on a concrete pad in Gregory City Park; council agreed by consensus. Council also agreed to grind, reshape and gravel the drive around the park to improve access.
Council additionally approved adding sidewalks to the walkthrough doors of the new T-hangars, with an approximate city share of $500. These items were approved or agreed by consensus or unanimous motion at the meeting.
