Clerk reports on dog licensing, community garden leveling; board discusses vegetation maintenance ordinances

City Clerk Mary Sue Fontana told the board that approximately 80 dogs have been licensed and about 25 remain to be licensed. Fontana also reported that Walters Construction was able to level the community garden while the contractor had equipment in town for a different project.
Board members discussed vegetation overgrowth along city rights-of-way. After deliberation, Clerk Fontana said she would provide information from the ordinances related to right-of-way maintenance. The board also briefly discussed ordinances related to multiple households sharing service connections.
