Board members probed whether coordinator positions are replacements or truly new positions, and staff (Speaker 2) said some coordinator roles did not previously exist and are being created to address specific functions such as school counseling and student support, summer responsibilities, and implementing audit recommendations. The board asked for ongoing monitoring and for administrators to be prepared to justify extended days if later requested.
