Bev Ballog, representing Hometown Heroes, attended the Sept. 16 meeting to thank the borough for its support of the project and expressed appreciation that the borough and individuals associated with the project would not be accepting money from a civil case.
Council President Riley Cross had earlier said he discussed the Hometown Heroes lawsuit with Lance Greer and reported that they would not be taking any money from the civil action. Ballog’s statement was recorded as an expression of thanks from the Hometown Heroes organization.
