The DeKalb County Drain Board approved a minor subdivision for Craft Acres on State Road 8 in Butler, dividing the property into two parcels measuring 9.7 and 6.4 acres for single-family residences. Angie Wallace of Compass Lane Surveying represented the applicant and outlined the parcel sizes; the surveyor’s favorable recommendation was recorded and the motion carried.
Board members discussed proximity to existing regulated drains and confirmed the surveyor’s office will supervise any work affecting county drains. "We're dividing this lot into 2 parcels," Angie Wallace said, and the board approved the subdivision as presented following a motion and second.
