County highlights LAMP and CRRB volunteer boards and launches SJC Stewardship Series for public education

County environmental staff described two volunteer advisory boards and a public-education video series that help guide conservation and cultural-resource work.
"The LAMP board... is a volunteer board, appointed by the county commissioners and they review the properties that come in for consideration for purchase by the county," Michael Legasse said, describing the Land Acquisition and Management Program's advisory role. He also described the Cultural Resource Review Board (CRRB) as a volunteer panel that advises staff on cultural-resource aspects of the Land Development Code.
Larson and staff also promoted the SJC Stewardship Series, a set of videos on the county website and YouTube channel intended to educate residents about cultural and natural features in the county and to encourage public participation in preservation and advisory-board meetings.
