County urges residents to register for Alert Saint John's for life‑safety notices

Wilson noted registrants can choose preferred delivery methods (text, phone call, email) and sign up for specific weather alerts; she also described a quiet‑hours feature but urged that overnight alerts be enabled for severe threats such as tornado warnings.
