Councilor Todd Smith moved to appoint Jolley and Councilor Denny Nielsen seconded; the motion passed with all present members voting in favor and Councilors Michele Tesdal and Greg Sheppard absent with notice.
City Recorder Michelle Connor said she would contact Jolley to arrange paperwork and onboarding. The council did not discuss terms or an effective start date at the meeting; staff follow-up was directed to complete the appointment process.
