The Donald City Council on June 9, 2026 approved Resolution No. 618-26 to revise wholesale sewer treatment rates charged to the Fargo Interchange Sewer District. City Manager Eric Underwood told Council this was the first rate increase to Fargo in five years and said the objective is to get rates closer to covering the costs of servicing the Fargo District; a separate rate study will help guide future adjustments.
Councilors approved the resolution unanimously. The Council recorded no dissenting discussion; staff indicated a rate study (now under contract with Donovan Enterprises) will inform longer-term rate structure decisions.
