The Donald City Council unanimously approved Resolution No. 620-26 on June 9, 2026 to extend the moratorium on development based on limited sanitary sewer capacity. City Manager Eric Underwood told the Council the extension would run from July 8, 2026 through Jan. 8, 2027 and staff confirmed that the Oregon Department of Land Conservation and Development had received the required 14-day notice of the public hearing.
Council discussion was brief and focused on progress toward ending the moratorium; no public testimony was offered during the public hearing. The resolution passed on a 7–0 vote and directs staff and council to continue work on sanitary sewer capacity solutions before the extended moratorium expires.
