The Donald City Council on June 9, 2026 unanimously approved Resolution No. 617-26 to adopt the FY 2026–27 budget, make appropriations and impose and categorize the tax for the coming fiscal year. City Manager Eric Underwood told the Council there was a correction to the septic tank pumping line in the budget prior to the vote; the resolution passed on a 7–0 roll call.
The adopted budget follows a public hearing held earlier in the meeting at which no members of the public commented. The Council took no additional amendments on the floor; the next formal step is implementation of the adopted appropriations for the fiscal year beginning in July 2026.
