Marion County grant to bring electricity and Wi‑Fi to Donald gazebo, manager reports arbitration delay

City Manager Eric Underwood told the council that "the Marion County Prosperity Grant will be used to bring electricity and Wi‑Fi to the Gazebo," saying the grant will support electrical service and public wireless access at the downtown gazebo. He reported additional items in his manager’s report including attendance at the French Prairie Forum with Council President Jan Olsen and an offer from Greg Leo to give an emergency preparedness presentation to the council.
Underwood said arbitration with Marion County regarding the Fargo sewer district has been delayed because of a medical situation involving someone on the Marion County side. He also announced that Capital Lumber will host an open house on Wednesday, May 6, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.; the notice in the minutes says RSVP is required to attend.
