District rehired two classified assistants after recent resignation

An administrator told the board that one classified assistant had resigned earlier but that Michelle Mack and Amy Campbell have returned to fill positions and provide stability for students. The administrator said, “They had left last year to go do other jobs, and both already are back with us,” and noted that another staff member has intermittent attendance because of health problems.

Board members expressed sympathy for the employee situation and welcomed the returning staff. There were no personnel votes recorded in the meeting; hiring actions appear to have been completed administratively before or just prior to this meeting.
