Neighbor opposes repairs after fire-damaged house at 911 South Bell; council directs draft resolution

Council Member Dustin Schultz moved to direct the counselor to draft a resolution with specifics for the repairs; Larry Walker seconded and the motion carried on an all‑yes roll call (Marshall Christmann absent).
The owners, Jon and Gayla Schubert, did not attend the hearing. The council’s instruction asks staff and the city counselor to draft repair requirements and timelines to be returned for further action. The resolution will spell out permits, inspection requirements (including electrical) and the 30/90‑day compliance windows.
